PRs, firsts, and the weeks you showed up. No win is too small.
Thread ideas
- "Finally hit a 2-plate bench!"
- "Down 30 lb since January"
- "First full week of training in a year"
- "Progress check: 6 months in, what should I change?"
- "Ran my first 5K without stopping"
- "12 weeks straight without missing one"
- "First pull-up at 38"
Progress-check template
Age: Height: Weight (start -> now): Timeframe: Goal: Training split: Diet (calories/protein, roughly): What changed: Photos:Photo tips: same spot, same lighting, same time of day. Front, side, and back. Progress photos on your Lumen are private unless you make a before/after pair public, and face blur is there if you want it.
Do
- Post the small wins too. They add up.
- Spark people. It's how this place says "nice work".
- Be specific: numbers, timeframe, what you did.
Don't
- Keep photos gym-appropriate: what you'd wear training or at the beach. No nudity.
- No negative comments on anyone's body. Feedback only if they ask for it.
- No photos of other people without their okay.
- No before/afters used to advertise coaching or products.
